A soft, elegant wine that pairs beautifully with food our Grenache is rapidly becoming a firm favourite amongst our supporters.
Planted on the Eastern facing slope below the winery, our Grenache enjoys a sunny aspect, often tempered by a cooling afternoon breeze.
Fermented in the original open top fermenters and basket pressed, the Grenache spends a short time in seasoned French oak puncheons.
The result is an elegant, juicy Grenache in a bright and expressive style.
Gentle tannins and a fleshy palate give a soft and generous mouth feel.
This old timer of the Vale is enjoying it's time back in the spot light.
Tasting Notes
Color: Bright Crimson
Aroma: Pretty floral notes followed by strawberry, thyme and mint.
Palate: Rich strawberry conserve, morello cherry and spice.
Fine powdery tannin and refreshing acidity.
